Thomas Enterprises, Inc. (TEI), a veteran-owned, small disadvantaged business (SDB) was awarded a Seaport Enhanced contract (No. N00178-10-R-4000) on July 15, 2010.
Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e) is a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle, using a web-based, e-business procurement Portal, to facilitate performance-based service acquisition, leverage buying power, improve business intelligence and reduce cycle time. The Virtual SYSCOM Commanders formalized an agreement to expand the ordering community of Seaport-e to include all Virtual SYSCOM activities and to leverage the success of SeaPort-e in achieving the objectives across the Virtual SYSCOM, which consists of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP), and Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR). Additional users are Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Military Sealift Command, and the U.S. Marine Corps.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
TEI will use Total Quality Management (TQM) procedures in daily processes to monitor and maximize quality. Our corporate policy is to “Do it right the first time.” TQM minimizes rework. TEI fosters the practice of employee empowerment for process improvement. We will continue to maximize TQM tools and techniques for promoting Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).
